Consistent in appearance with natural color variations. Other natural character features extremely limited in size & number. Minimum length allowable 36” Average length 56” (packaging 10’)

#1 COMMON
Prominent variations in coloration & natural characters but limited in size to less than ½” diameter. Minimum length allowable 11 ¼” Average length 32”/36” (packaging 7 or 10’)

CHARACTER
Wide variation in both color & natural characters consisting of a mixture of the above grades, allowing for a floor with longer planks. Purpose is to draw focus away from the floor down to the individual planks’ characteristics. All characteristic must be sound. Minimum length allowable 24” Average length 48” (packaging 10’)

#2 COMMON
May contain a wide range of imperfections both natural & manufacturing. Purpose of flooring is to provide suitable general utility use where acceptable lengths are short & have a wide range of color & character marks. Minimum length allowable 9” Average length 24” (packaging 7’)
