What is the difference between unfinished and prefinished hardwood flooring?

Pre-finished hardwood arrive ready to be installed. In most cases this means sanded, stained, and finished with a UV aluminum oxide coating. Unfinished hardwood floors must be ‘site finished’ prior to installation.

What is MSRP?

Most of us are familiar with the term Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price, or MSRP. This type of pricing is found everywhere on all types of products, including domestic hardwood flooring produced in mass for boxes stores. The way it works, they sell same product through distributors when it is new. At some point unsold products go to liquidation stores and the MSRP comes into play. $3.00 off any hardwood floors is a meaningless statement, right? $3.00 off what, the MSRP of course. We remove all the propaganda and tell the truth about the entire process.
